Baghdad Landscape



"Baghdad landscape" by Hussein Madi. Lebanese painter, sculptor and printmaker, considered among the Arab world's foremost artists. Born in 1938, Madi studied painting in Lebanon, then studied and worked in Rome from 1963 until 1987. He has had more than sixty solo exhibitions over the world.

Ghadi Ghosn






Ghadi Ghosn is a lebanese illustrator with a Master in illustration from ALBA (Academie Libanaise des Beaux Arts). Ghosn already published a comic album in french: "le cri" and
he is also the co-founder of an illustration magazine called "le misérable".
Above are illustrations applied for last year's "Illustrate for the youth" contest, organized by the Lebanese ministry of culture and "la maison du livre". The theme of the contest was a Geha story.
